Mine pg4"He's dehydrated!" Raoc gasped "...probably."
"Raoc! Sshi! Help me get him back to the Nether house!" Swift instructed
I grabbed the teen's shoulders and began to drag him to the house, Raoc hovering beside me breathing instructions. When we got to the house made of Nether brick we had to set him down on the floor (no bed) and Raoc dashed to the chest by the wall. He rummaged through it, throwing out apples and wooden bowls until he found a bucket of water which he brought over to Swift and the other boy whom he propped up.
"You're going to need to drink this!" Raoc said in a tight and panicked tone.
"D-drink?.... water?" the teen mumbled. He looked miniscule compared to Raoc, weaker too. But that was no surprise.
"Swift take care of him!" Raoc growled, running back to the chest and fishing around in it.
Swift eased some water down the nearly unconscious boy's throat, his eyes still sealed shut. He was making sobbing sounds, but no water came from his eyes. One of his shaking hands unc
Mine pg3Standing in front of the mine I realized I could no longer see in the dark, which could come to our disadvantage, at the very bottom of the long set of stairs I saw a torch, but it looked microscopic from where we stood. Swift was the first to step in, then I stepped in after her. I looked back to see if Raoc was following. He wasn't. I could see the silhouette of his body trembling slightly and hear panicked words being uttered under his breath.
"Swift!" I hissed, walking down few more steps.
"What?" her disembodied voice asked
"Raoc has fallen behind!"
I could feel Swift walking past me and back up to Raoc and could hear her faint voice whisper to him.
"Are you alright?" Swift asked quietly
"N-n-n-n-n-n-no," Raoc breathed
"It's alright," Swift insisted
"I don't want to go back into the dark!" Raoc whimpered, his squeaky voice sounded choked.
"But you'll have us!"
"I-I-I-I kn-kn-know!" Raoc said
"Come on!" Swift said kindly
I could see her silhouette take his hand and walk
Mine pg2I stepped through the gates, to the town on the other side. Buildings rose up before me, a church of cobble, a butcher's market and even a pool. The villages had become more modern since last I'd seen, and it was strange to not have someone look at me and scream. I caught Raoc staring at a group of young women, walking towards a restaurant.
"Pssst! Where's the library?" I hissed
"I don't know," Raoc said shrugging
"What do you mean, you don't know?!" I yelled
"I've only ever teleported there!" he said calmly "I have an idea."
I followed Raoc towards a brown haired human girl.
"E-e-ex-excuse me!" Raoc said, raising a hand.
The girl looked up, taking in my creeper face shirt and tool belt as well as Raoc's black "tank top" and his enderpearl necklace
"Why hello there!" the girl said. She looked about our age, maybe a year younger, which would make us... 18?
"W-we need to find the-the library," Raoc squeaked
"Oh? I can show you, in fact I was heading there myself!" the girl said happily "
Mine pg1The spinning and twisting wouldn't stop, the lights flashed green (my favorite color), then blue, then purple like the Nether portal's particles. I landed with a thump, lying on my back.
"Great..." I hissed "Now I can't-"
I glanced down. Holy mother of Ghasts. This body that I was in was strange, long arms like an enderman stretched before me, legs that weren't stumps and the strange desire to not blow up haunted me. Then I saw the human. Lying a few wolf lengths away from me. He had black hair and seemed unconscious, he was obviously taller then my new form and he wore all black. I slowly got to my unsteady, alien feet and approached the human miner, hissing me usual threats. My voice didn't sound right. Then again nothing seemed right. The human stirred, revealing a necklace with a single enderpearl on it that glimmered in the rising sun. He must be a mob slayer, I smirked at the thought, heh I could just blow up! No. I need to survive. These thoughts were strange too, I had always (
